Disclosing representations of basic themes cartographies for the environmental protection

Abstract

La finalità di questo progetto è di realizzare una legenda cartografica di facile lettura, utile per la comprensione delle cartografie tematiche. Utilizzando collaudati metodi di valutazione ambientale e attraverso l’utilizzo di GIS, si è pervenuti alla legenda della cartografia dei «potenziali usi ottimali del territorio», descritta in questo lavoro.

The main issue of this project is to realise a new type of cartographic representation, to achieve a better comprehension of the thematic maps. By tested landscape evaluation methods and by GIS, we obtain the cartographic representation of the «landscape better utilisations» thematic map that is described in this work.
