Reconstrucción de territorios mediante el catastro y el uso de la geotecnología: hacia un sistema centralizado de datos geohistóricos

En las últimas décadas hemos asistido al nacimiento y consolidación de una línea de investigación centrada en mirar al pasado desde las herramientas del presente. Desde este trabajo proponemos una reflexión ilustrada en un caso de estudio concreto, sobre la necesidad de aunar esfuerzos para generar sistemas que permitan el almacenamiento y gestión de geodatos históricos centralizados e independientes a temas específicos. En otras palabras, y buscando paralelismos con lo que está ocurriendo en el campo de la geografía, se trataría de desarrollar entornos similares a los que existen con los datos actuales y en los que la estandarización y la interoperabilidad sean las características fundamentales. Para facilitar la identificación y el acceso a estas fuentes de información, las infraestructuras de datos espaciales se han convertido en la mejor alternativa. Por todo ello, se propone comenzar a trabajar en la construcción de un catálogo de geodatos históricos que intente seguir los modelos de la directiva europea INSPIRE y que sirva de base para una futura IDE geohistórica.

Abstract
In recent decades we have witnessed the birth and consolidation of a line of research focused on looking at the past from the tools of the present. From this work we propose an illustrated reflection in a specific case study, about the need to join efforts to generate systems that allow the storage and management of centralized and independent historical geodata to specific topics. In other words, and looking for parallels with what is happening in the field of geography, it would be a question of developing environments similar to those
that exist with current data and in which standardization and interoperability are the fundamental characteristics. To facilitate the identification and access to these sources of information, spatial data infrastructures have become the best alternative. For all these reasons, it is proposed to start working on the construction of a catalog of historical geodata trying to follow the models of the European INSPIRE directive and that serves as the basis for a future geo-historical SDI.
