La e-Geografia in Gradi: narrazione, immagine e territorio
Résumé
Il Laboratorio di Aree interne e Sistemi Informativi Geografici (LAI&GIS) del Dipartimento di Scienze omane, della Comunicazione e del Turismo dell’Università della Tuscia è una struttura di sperimentazione che ha l’obiettivo di stimolare esperienze di ricerca interdisciplinare su teorie e tecniche geografiche, storiche, sociologiche, informatiche e sull’utilizzo comune di metodi che fanno convergere prospettive ed energie scientifiche diverse.
Alla base della sua attività didattica e di ricerca vi è un approccio in linea con le tematiche visual thinking che investe la narrazione, il carattere costruttivo delle immagini e delle rappresentazioni e l’utilizzo delle nuove tecnologie nel far conoscere, analizzare e progettare in ambito diversi.
Fondamentale per l’attività del LAI&GIS è favorire “alleanze” collaborando con altre realtà laboratoriali geografiche, al fine di: 1) poter condividere l’attività di ricerca e di progettazione, ma anche di intervenire sulla definizione delle strategie per ottenere l’attuazione di politiche di qualità; 2) attrarre investimenti e promuovere lo sviluppo di ambiti di ricerca geografici, nella convinzione che sia indispensabile diffondere una conoscenza in grado di creare una partecipazione più attiva che possa far riscoprire il senso di appartenenza al “sistema”.
The Laboratory of Internal Areas and Geographic Information Systems (LAI&GIS) of the Department of Humanities, Communication and Tourism of the University of Tuscia is an experimentation structure that aims to stimulate interdisciplinary research experiences on geographic, historical, sociological and information technology theories and techniques, and on the common use of methods that converge different scientific perspectives and energies.
At the base of its teaching and research activity there is an approach in line with the visual thinking themes that invests the narration, the constructive character of images and representations and the use of new technologies in making known, analyzing and designing in different fields.
It is fundamental for the activity of the LAI&GIS to favor alliances by collaborating with geographical laboratories, in order to: 1) be able to share research and design activities, but also to intervene on defining strategies to achieve the implementation of quality policies; 2) attract investments and promote the development of geographical research areas, in the belief that it is essential to spread a knowledge capable of creating a more active participation that can rediscover the sense of belonging to the “system”.
